This notice is to advise the patrons of the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal (“BCT”) that there is an ongoing Water and Sewer repair project being undertaken by the City of New York within the vicinity of the BCT. This project is being performed to upgrade antiquated water and sewer lines along Columbia Street, DeGraw Street, and Van Brunt Street.
While we continue to urge all cruise passengers that will be driving to the BCT to use the Hamilton Avenue exit (Exit 26) of the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (“BQE”), with 70% of the sewer project complete, the Atlantic Avenue exit (Exit 27) is now a usable alternative. However passengers utilizing Atlantic Avenue may encounter intermittent lane closures which may cause minimal delays.
Regardless of which exit is taken, to get to the terminal, all passengers should follow the blue “Brooklyn Cruise Terminal” signs when exiting the BQE.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
